Valley Hospital Buys Nearby Office Building

Acquired Parkview Plaza on Ridgewood Avenue for $28 million, according to a news report.

Valley Hospital this month bought a 112,000 square foot office building roughly a mile away from its Ridgewood campus, The Record reports.

Real estate sources tell the paper that the hospital paid $28 million for the Parkview Plaza, a three-story building sitting across from the Wild Duck Pond at 1200 East Ridgewood Avenue.

Valley representatives have said, in testimony before the Ridgewood Planning Board on the hospital’s plans to expand its facility, that outpatient services will be relocated if the renovations are approved, reducing the potential impact on the surrounding neighborhood.
