36th Annual Memorial Day Run

Where/When: , 131 N Maple Ave, Ridgewood; Monday, May 30, 7:15 a.m.

Why Go: Come for fun and fitness for the whole family, with activities ranging from a Kid’s run to men’s and women’s 5K races. Over $6,000 in prizes to be won.

Franklin Lakes Memorial Day Parade and Critter Walk

Where/When: The parade starts at Commerce Street at 9 a.m. and continues up Franklin Avenue to the VFW Hall, where a ceremony unveiling the new memorial to the borough's war dead will take place around 9:30 a.m. Afterward, a Critter Walk will take place on Memorial Field (behind Borough Hall) in Memory of Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital Founder Dr. Cheryl Welch. 

Where/When: 248 Lake St, Upper Saddle River; Monday, May 30, 6 – 10 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy games, rides, food and family fun. The week-long carnival kicks off Monday.
