Valley Hospital Pleased with Supreme Court Ruling
Ruling will "allow the much-needed reform of our healthcare system to continue," says CEO Audrey Meyers.
CEO Audrey Meyers issued the following statement regarding the that keeps the Affordable Care Act in tact:
Today’s Supreme Court ruling will facilitate the provision of health insurance coverage to 32 million Americans, including nearly 1 million people from New Jersey. It will also allow the much-needed reform of our healthcare system to continue.
Valley Health System has already invested greatly in reform efforts to improve healthcare quality, to make care delivery more coordinated and seamless, and to make healthcare services more cost-effective. These include the recent launch of our Accountable Care Organization, a system-wide commitment to operational excellence, and new collaborations and partnerships with physicians to provide higher quality care more efficiently.
