Wasabi Wins Readers' Choice Best Sushi Poll
Sakura Bana places a very close second, losing by just two votes.

The vote was close – 56 voters said the authentic Japanese sushi restaurant near in Ridgewood was best, while 54 cast votes for downtown's Sakura Bana, long considered one of the finest sushi restaurants in North Jersey.
, Wasabi opened at the corner of Ridgewood and South Pleasant Avenues in 2000. It's been a popular offering in the area and boasts some of the best dumplings and sushi around.

and were the next highest vote getters, grabbing 33 and 20, respectively. Glen Rock's placed fifth, with 12 votes (tied with ).
There will be no Readers’ Choice next week as we are revamping the feature. The poll will re-launch on June 18 with more customizable features and an extended nominated and voting period.
