Basketball Net, UPS Package Taken

Police blotter March 23.

A Gordon Road resident reported March 17 at 11 p.m. that he heard a noise in his home but could not find the cause. He later discovered his front window broken by a rock. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Police Department.

Rite Aid Pharmacy reported March 19 at 3:44 p.m. that it had a juvenile shoplifter in custody. Patrol responded, and the juvenile was taken into custody then released to his parents pending Juvenile Court action.

An Amsterdam Avenue resident reported March 19 that someone had removed a UPS package March 1 from her porch. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau.

An Eastbrook Road resident reported a portable basketball hoop was taken from his front yard March 19. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau.
