Car Crashes into Ridgewood’s China King

No one was injured in the accident, report says.

Damage to a village Chinese restaurant was “minimal” after a car crashed into the front of it Saturday morning, NorthJersey.com reported.

Cops were called to China King on North Maple Ave. after 8 a.m. to respond to the accident, the report said.

The car’s driver, an elderly man whose name was not released, was not injured in the accident, the report said. But, he was cited for careless driving, it said.

According to the report, Ridgewood’s building department determined the building was structurally sound, so the restaurant will remain open.
