Ridgewood man woke up to find an intruder stealing two laptops and a cell phone from his house, police say.

Police are looking for a man they say climbed into a Ridgewood home through a window in the middle of the night and made off with a bunch of expensive electronics.

According to a statement from Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward, a man climbed through the window of an Oak Street home at about 3:50 a.m. last Tuesday.

The resident was asleep on the couch, woke up while the burglar was still there, and confronted him, Ward said.
