Pedestrian Flees R'Wood Accident Scene

Driver of possible pedestrian strike faces unrelated citation

may have stumbled upon an odd victimless crime on Saturday night.

According to authorities, a would-be victim of a pedestrian strike fled the scene, which occurred at Franklin and N. Broad at around 10:30 p.m.

Police said the unidentified pedestrian may have run into the side of a minivan making a turn onto N. Broad St.

The pedestrian, believed to be female, could not be located after walking east toward Oak St. The driver was picked up by Glen Rock police near the on N. Broad St.

Though the driver of the vehicle was not charged with any offenses related to the strike, she was taken to the station having been driving on a suspended license, according to police.
