Police: Man Urinated on Walls, Floor of Court Bathroom
Hackensack resident was charged with disorderly conduct, police say
A Hackensack man is facing charges after police say he urinated all over the walls and floor of the bathroom at Municipal Court in Ridgewood on Dec. 15.
Tamer Tawfik, 43, has been arrested and charged with trespassing, lewdness, harassment, and assault over the past decade , jail records show. Now, the Egyptian native has a criminal mischief charge to add to the list of alleged offenses.
Ridgewood police said the investigation was fairly simple – the officer assigned to security on Thursday became aware of the urination just after Tawfik had exited the restroom. Tawfik was released pending a future date in Municipal Court.
