Thieves Steal Apple Products, Cash, Jewelry in Glen Rock Burglaries

Glen Rock police are asking anyone with information related to several home and vehicle burglaries to contact detectives.

Laptops, iPods, iPads, purses, jewelry and cash are among the items stolen from homes and vehicles in Glen Rock in the last few weeks, according to police reports.

Glen Rock police reported that on Sept. 27 patrol responded to a home burglary on Buckingham Place. The thief entered through a rear door and grabbed cash and jewelry. Some evidence was taken at the scene and detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Three days later, police were summoned to a house on Valley Road where burglars made entry and left with a gold watch and an Apple laptop.

As is the case in neighboring Ridgewood, home burglaries were not the only property thefts reported in recent weeks.

Glen Rock police say Grandview Avenue saw a flurry of burglary activity to vehicles over a two-day period in early October.
