Two Cars Burglarized Near Ridgewood Border

Both were reportedly unlocked when targeted by burglars around 3 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Two cars were burglarized around 3 a.m. Sunday morning near Washington Township's border with Ridgewood, according to a Pascack Valley Community Life report.

Police told the local paper that surveillance footage from a house on Johnson Place captured images of two men in a “sedan-type vehicle” stealing designer sunglasses from a neighbor's unlocked vehicle. On nearby Salem Road, electronics were stolen from another unlocked car.

Investigators had not immediately determined a connection between the two cases, according to the report.
