Graydon Concession Stand Privatized Again in 2013

Trial run in 2012 went well enough for the village to award the vendor the contract again in 2013.

The concession stand at Graydon will remain privately run – at least for 2013, anyway.

Ridgewood's council agreed last Wednesday to renew the "Vending to Please" contract for a second straight year, receiving $18,000 from vendor Sergio Francisco for the new season.

Last year's trial basis went well, council members said. Local residents were hired and Graydon overall made money last year, in part due to Francisco paying $15,000.

The council will be requesting that Francisco maintain strict hours in 2013. He would occasionally close early in 2012, officials said.
