Three Candidates to Compete for Two Ridgewood Council Seats

The fire captain, Board of Adjustment member, and reporter are competing to replace two current village council members, report says.

Three candidates will compete this May for two seats on the Ridgewood Village Council, NorthJersey.com reported Monday afternoon.

According to the report, three village residents – James Albano, Susan Knudsen, and Michael Sedon – will be running in the May 13 election.

Albano is the captain of the Ridgewood Fire Department, Knudsen is the Board of Adjustment Vice Chair, and Sedon is a staff reporter at the Staten Island Advance, the report said.

The three will compete to replace Councilman Tom Rice, who recently announced his decision not to seek reelection, and Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh, who is running for the Republican nomination for Bergen County Freeholder, the report said.
