Ridgewood Schools' 2014-15 Calendar Allows for Two Snow Days

Despite the district shortening Spring Break thanks to an excess of snow days used this year, the Ridgewood Board of Education recently approved a calendar for next year that does not change the number of snow days built into it.

According to a post on the district's website, the Board approved a 2014-15 calendar on March 17 that allows for two snow days. If three snow days are needed next year, a professional development day scheduled for April 6 will be added back into the school calendar. Any additional days off used will come from Spring Break.

This year, students will be in school three days during what was supposed to be their Spring Recess thanks to too many snow days.

Next year's school calendar kicks off on September 4 and includes a 10-day Winter Recess and five-day Spring Recess. The Class of 2015's graduation is scheduled for June 18.
