Bernie Williams at Bookends

Former New York Yankees Outfielder, Bernie Williams, will be at Bookends on July 19, 2011 to sign his new book Rhythms of the Game. He is known in both the baseball world and the musical realm as a Puerto Rican musician. He is a classically trained guitarist. In his book, William credits his training in music for helping him play baseball. Williams and co-authors Dave Gluck and Bob Thompson discover the parallels of music and baseball, comparing the art of music with athletic performance. Curious as to how this can be?
