The Ridgewood Soccer Association is sponsoring a program for 8th grade boys and girls to assist them in preparing for high school soccer tryouts. The program is designed for players who are not currently involved in Maroons or other spring travel soccer clubs. In addition to training, the program will include playing as a U14 Maroons team in the Northern Counties spring league. Participants will be required to give priority to the soccer schedule over other spring activities.
Training will commence in March and continue through June. Registration is open now through January 15 on the Community Pass system at: www.ridgewoodsports.org
This is the initial year for this program and it is conditioned upon receiving a sufficient number of player registrations. In order to be eligible, players must be in the 8th grade with birthdates between August 1, 1997 and July 31, 1998.
