Home Run Derby

Game On Glen Rock!, a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to install a state-of-the-art artificial turf complex in Glen Rock, will be hosting a fun and rewarding Home Run Derby this Saturday at Upper Faber Field on Doremus Ave. in Glen Rock starting at 10 am.  Bring your family and friends to cheer you on as you attempt to hit memorable home runs over a fence that will be placed at 280 feet.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase.  Music will be played and a commentator will be announcing the participants and the mammoth home run distances.

Parking on Doremus Ave. or in the front lot of the recycling center.  Suggested arrival time is between 10 am and 10:30 am so the festivities can start on time.  Money prizes will depend on the number of participants.  Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and longest home run.  ASA 2004 bats only.  $50 per registrant, $10 extra for each high compression ball, 15 swings off a pitching machine.  You can pay when you arrive.  Please come and support our cause.  We need your help to improve the face of Glen Rock's recreational facilities.
