Born a long time ago in New York City, raised for a short time in Zurich before moving back to New York City and then to Closter, Marshall  is a Professor Emeritus at Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey. You might find Marshall walking or cycling around New Jersey and New York ready to record your events for Patch. In addition to videos for RidgewoodPatch  he has also contributed to HobokenPatch, Nyack-PiermontPatch, ParamusPatch, and  TeaneckPatch. When he's not shooting Patch videos, cycling or mowing his lawn, he's probably working at his second job with the "Fantasy Puppet Theater".

Marshall has lived in Ridgewood since 1977.
